Hilden Beer and Music Festival
25 - 27 August
With great beers, great music and great craic, the annual Hilden Beer and Music Festival hits all the right notes. Ulster Youth Orchestra Summer Concert

Salim Sabri at Belfast Mela
Kicking off the official opening of the incredible Belfast Mela celebrations is an evening of unique Sufi devotional music from the heart of South Asia. An exciting evening performed by internationally leading Sufi singer Salim Sabri of the Sabri Brothers, Qawwali is a form of Sufi devotional music popular on the Indian subcontinent and a musical traditional that dates back over 700 years. The Belfast Tattoo is now firmly established as an annual event for the city, continually drawing people from outside the city to attend the spectacle with overseas visitors coming from as far away as New Zealand, Australia, the US and Canada. Groomsport Music and Fireworks
If you like your music with a dash of spectacle, head to Groomsport (only half an hour's journey from Belfast) for a night of live music and street food all set over the backdrop of a fabulous fireworks display. Music is provided by No Oil Paintings, who are a four-piece band that transform the use of traditional instrumentation into a something a little more raucous, and Bruce Springsteen tribute band The Boss UK. A talented cast of young people from all across Northern Ireland bring the favourite family musical Annie to the MAC in an all-new production by the National Stage School. Set in 1930s New York during the Great Depression, brave young Annie is forced to live a life of misery and torment at Miss Hannigan's orphanage. Determined to find her real parents, her luck changes when she is chosen to spend Christmas at the residence of the famous billionaire, Oliver Warbucks.
