Belfast Mic n Hike

Enjoy a unique guided cycle tour exploring the historic Titanic and Cathedral Quarters and city centre of Belfast. Over the 2 hours of gentle cycling you will learn how Belfast grew from a small 17th century settlement into a powerhouse of the British Empire by the beginning of the 20th century. On route, your guide will also tell the fascinating story of Belfast’s maritime and industrial heritage and political upheavals, stopping at Titanic’s Dock and Pump House and the Harbour Office. This tour runs on Sunday’s at 11am and 2pm and must be pre-booked 24hrs before the start time. You must provide your own bike, Belfast has its own ‘Belfast Bikes’ hire scheme. Mountain Bike Trails and Jump Park

For those looking for a little bit more adventure, try the new bike trails and jump parks at Barnett Demesne. The trails consist of a shared use 3.4km green trail and a 3.9km blue trail with 3 red loop options (1.5km). With Ireland's first official purpose-built jumps park boasting no less than 6 lines of mouth-watering table-tops, doubles and hip jumps, these trails tick all the right boxes for those searching for that all important adrenaline fix! Mobile Team Adventure

Mobile Team Adventure mountain biking is fast and fun, and great value! Explore Barnett Demesne Trails, just 5 minutes on a bike from our base, with trails to suit all ages and abilities from young families right through to top riders. With small, medium and large front suspension, the hard tails are  suitable for people 1.5 metres or taller. £15 per bike hire for 3 hours. Read more >>

Urban Sports

Bridges Urban Sports Park

Located under the M3 flyover at the junction of Little Patrick Street and Corporation Street, Bridges Urban Sports Park provides facilities for skateboarding, in-line skating, Parkour and BMXing. It also includes a capsule bowl and street complex, complete with handrails, hips, quarter pipes, grind boxes and hubbas. Admission to the park is free. Read more >>


Beyond Belfast

Comber Greenway

The Comber Greenway provides 7 miles of traffic-free cycling from Comber to Belfast. Along the route you'll pass the Harland & Wolff shipyards, CS Lewis Square, Parliament Buildings and the Belfast Hills. 

Lagan & Lough Cycle Way

The Lagan and Lough Cycle Way connects Lisburn and Newtownabbey with Belfast along a 21 mile traffic-free cycle ride and walkway. You'll pass a number of public parks including the National Trust property at Minnowburn and the historic Giant's Ring. 

Game of Thrones Filming Location Cycle Tours

Game of Thrones TV show was actually filmed here ‘on location’ in the 16th Century courtyard of our activity centre and in the surrounding estate at Castle Ward Demesne Northern Ireland. Many of the Game of Thrones pivotal scenes filmed here, including 'Winterfell', 'Bran falls from Winterfell Castle', ‘The Twins’ and 'Robb's Camp'. Take a self guided tour which a choice of Robb's Trail, 1 1/4 hours or Tywin's Trail, 2 1/4 hours. With your tour you'll get a 'Stark Sack' consisting of x2 capes, x2 swords and x1 medieval scroll movie map to ensure you have great fun out there in the wilds of Westeros – don’t forget your camera!
