Here Comes Santa! (16-17 December)

Dates

16 December 2017 - 17 December 2017, 10am - 5pm

Make magical memories at Castle Espie this Christmas and visit Santa in the enchanted gardens this December.

Relax and enjoy refreshments whilst the children create their own snowflakes to hang on your Christmas Tree while you wait to meet your very own elf, who will take you on a quest to find the golden snowflakes in the mystical gardens filled with winter wonderland surprises. Only when you find them all will you be lucky enough to meet Santa himself, who is cosied up waiting for you to arrive in his gorgeous grotto, hidden away in the gardens.

Festive activities

The magic continues throughout Castle Espie during the Christmas period, and the following festive activities can be scheduled around your visit:

• Storytelling and Toasting Marshmallows - Whilst out on the reserve, why not stop off at the Crannog between 10.30am and 4pm to enjoy some delicious toasted marshmallows and festive storytelling? (Note that this takes place on Santa event days only)
• Mrs Claus Christmas Trail – Santa has lost his reindeers – can you help to find them? They might be hiding around the Castle Espie reserve!
• Crafts – Christmas Craft will run in the centre between 10am and 4.30pm continuously.
• Post letters to Santa – Why not take the opportunity to post your Christmas letters to Santa while you're at Castle Espie, in the very special post box that sends your letters straight to the North Pole.

Please remember all these activities run throughout the day and you can participate in the festive fun either before or after your visit to Santa, or why not split the activities around visiting Santa.

The Kingfisher Kitchen is celebrating Christmas too and is open from 10am until 4.30pm, serving hot and cold drinks and a selection of homemade festive treats, beautiful lunches and even cooked breakfasts for the early birds. Special Festive Afternoon Teas are also taking place every Sunday between 19 November and 17 December.

Castle Espie can't wait to celebrate the festive season with you and your family, but book fast, because Santa is a very busy man!
