Easter Spring Street Carnival
Enjoy a fun family afternoon in Newtownards and Bangor this Easter weekend with a colourful carnival of vibrant floats, music and dancing, all for free!

Friday 14 April, 12.30pm - 5pm
Street theatre and a BMX Bike Show featuring renowned equilibrist, Bernie Bennett will precede the highlight of the day, the Spring Street Carnival, a colourful carnival of floats, music and dance, starting at 3pm. All activities are free.
Bangor Town Centre
Monday 17 April, 12pm - 5pm
Bangor town centre will be bustling with activity with the McKee Clock Arena transformed to become a competitive zone for world famous trail bike master Adam Raga who will demonstrate his jaw dropping skills in the Trial Bikes Show. Then there will be another chance to see the spectacular and colourful Spring Street Carnival, the highlight of this annual Easter Monday event, at 3pm.

Join Batman and Emmet for a Lego Extravaganza in Market Square in Lisburn on Easter Saturday. Get involved in the superhero themed Lego building workshop from Bricks 4 Kidz, Lego racing and a Lego clay workshop from Jumping Clay. Enjoy other free activities such as face painting, balloon modelling and a carousel, plus meet the chicks and rabbits at the mini mobile farm.

Roll eggs down the Bleach Green, follow the Easter treasure hunt and play street games at Ulster Folk and Transport Museum. Create Easter art and welcome the new additions to the farm including spring lambs, piglets and baby chicks. Have a go at the great egg trail in the Folk Museum and the Eggstreme egg hunt in the Transport Museum. Watch the magician perform his tricks, visit the Easter chicks, lambs and rabbits and enjoy many other special activities.

Easter Weekend at Exploris Aquarium

Visit Exploris and make your own Easter bunny, follow the clues and join in the treasure hunt for eggs and adventure trail while little ones will enjoy hearing the story of the Easter Bunny! You'll get to meet the resident sealife like the African Nile crocodile, Madagascan geckos and the seals and otter colonies.

Over Easter Streamvale Farm can be enjoyed by all the family! You and your kids will love feeding the new born lambs and cuddling the gorgeous puppies. A full list of activities is planned from when you arrive at the farm, including the resident dog, Chase, performing his dog agility and cuddle times with the baby rabbits. There will also be tractor and barrel rides running all day to keep the kids entertained as well as all the play areas to tire them out.

Mount Stewart Easter Egg Hunt

Take the children to Mount Stewart this Easter for the popular Cadbury's Easter egg hunt! Follow the Dragons Egg Trail around the lake walk and return to collect a chocolate prize.
